BEVERLY HILLS, Isaiah Washington, shut your big trap before they take you away. Don’t you know you’re in Hollywood, where you don’t use words like “Faggot”? No, not even in a sentence denying you called someone a “faggot”.
Doesn’t work that way. This is Hollywood kid, where the only thing worse you can call someone is a “Jewish Faggot”. Not that they don’t exist, but no, you can’t use those words. You can however, say the word “negro” and its many incarnations and actually get more famous, look at Michael Richards. But “Faggot”, no, doesn’t work that way.
In a public statement designed to put you down and further humiliate you, ABC said “We are greatly dismayed that Mr. Washington chose to use such inappropriate language at the Golden Globes, language that he himself deemed `unfortunate’ in his previous public apology..His actions are unacceptable and are being addressed”.
After realizing that even his denial (”No, I did not call (co-star) T.R. (Knight) a faggot,”) could get him canned from the top-rated chick drama, Isaiah Washington began backpedaling faster than you can say “now, dance clown!”.
On Thursday, Isaiah Washington released his apology, and it couldn’t be more gay. “I (sniff, sniff) apologize to T.R., my colleagues, the fans of the show and especially the lesbian and gay community for using a word that is unacceptable in any context or circumstance. I marred what should have been a perfect night for everyone who works on `Grey’s Anatomy.’ I can neither defend nor explain my behavior. I can also no longer deny to myself that there are issues I obviously need to examine within my own soul, and I’ve asked for help.”
“Examine your own soul”? Whoa. Allrighty then. Our advice? Announce you’re secretly gay yourself - and get a good lawyer, preferably Jewish. Otherwise we’ll see you on the “D-List”.
