Dear Chris, Thank you for your letter. I’m not sure how to answer this, maybe they are gay but under social pressure to hide it in order to survive (as they might think). Other research, especially on rats suggests that when you put too many of the same gender together they in fact start having sex with their own gender, no matter their original sexual preference. This might be the case with humans as well, but since I’m no scientist I can only speculate. I have similar experiences from the Army as you describe, it was hot wet sex almost 24 hrs a day and it didn’t stop there, we once held an underwear party at our bunker but it ended up being the biggest orgy I have ever participated in.
