A little something about Alex |
|
Over the past few months we have shared a great deal together, I know so much about you (my readers at GXR) but you know virtually nothing about me. Therefore, this week, I decided not to respond to a letter but to tell you a little bit about myself.
I come from a small town in northern Nevada. When I was 11 years old I was so lucky to discover my sexual orientation. It was on a hot summer night when I and my friends were walking in the hills that we stumbled upon a group of hikers. We lay there in hiding watching them as we noticed they where all naked touching each others body parts. I and my friends didn’t know what it was back then but now when I think back I know this was a gay nudist colony in the middle of the Mojave Desert. That was a night I discovered I liked men. After graduating High school in my home town I knew it was my time to move on and seek bigger and better things in the big city. I moved to New York and enrolled at a university and got my degree in Psychology. During my time in The Big Apple I experienced some of the wildest relationships I’ve had up to date and have to say that a small boy from Nevada really didn’t fit into all that fast pace lifestyle the queens of New York were living. Since the days of the internet I have traveled in cyberspace looking for the best medium to get my message across and to help my fellow gay people in need. I am so happy that today the good people at GXR have dedicated a whole section to me and my work. I hope to be here for a long time and want to thank you my readers for the overflow of positive letters I have received over the past weeks – it demonstrates that my work here is doing some good. Keep them coming and send me your e-mails directly to me at
